Hey all my Supernatural fangirls (and boys?)! I have a question for y'all-- if Dean were a girl, what would she be like/look like.

I imagine that she'd be more or less the same then her male counterpart. She'd still drink beer, act tough, hustle pool (with John, Sam and/or Castiel at her back in order to scare off potential threats, of course), listen to mullet rock, and wear pretty much the same clothing. I see her being a lot like Ellen, if she were female. Very shrewd and cunning-- just in a more feminine way than the Dean we all know and love.

Would she have long hair or short hair? I see her with long hair simply because it makes her more feminine. If she's wearing steel-toed boots, jeans, and a flannel over a tank, then she's gotta add some femininity somewhere in there-- especially if she were born a girl. Since Dean doesn't seem to be ashamed of his body, I don't see Dean(na) being ashamed of hers. She's wear comfortable and practical clothes, with a bit of a flair (tight tanks with flannel; tight and worn-in jeans, etc.)

Would she wear makeup? Maybe just the basics.

Honestly, I see Sammy being more girly as a girl than Dean would be.

I'm asking these questions because I'm still not sure what I'm going to be doing with my Dean Halloween costume. Craig has bought me the amulet (because he's a sweetheart). I WAS planning on wearing jeans, boots (which is kind of being replaced with sneakers since my boots that I have in Cali are too-big combat boots with heels and faux-Uggs-- not very Dean-ish). Would Dean wear black and white checked Vans? Those are the only shoes I have that aren't sorta girly. Or maybe my black flats with a skull jewel on the strap would be more Dean-ish? IDK. The shirt is giving me the most trouble. I wanted to wear flannel or some sort of button up shirt that I could leave open or button up to my boobs to show off a bra (Maybe Dean was in the middle of sexytimes with Cas-- huh? Huh? Or in a fight and his shirt came off?) but I haven't toned my belly enough to be comfortable walking around like that all night.

I was thinking maybe a black tank top and a leather jacket (I have a hot motorcycle jacket). I really liked the idea of wearing flannel, especially since it's popular right now, but most don't fit me-- my body is too small, and my boobs are too big.

So what should I do? What would Dean(na) do?

I can't actually write a decent "review" type entry until I've seen an episode AT LEAST twice, and have made copious notes on it. So I'm just gonna type up my initial reactions.

Remember when I said I was working on a Supernatural fanvid to Hollywood Undead's "Undead"?
Well, I finished it a while ago, and finally got over my nerves and uploaded it to YouTube.
It's my first fanvid in a VERY long time. I pretty much stopped making them when I started at CalArts. I was trying to focus on my own work and felt that I should stop making fanvids.
However, sometimes an idea hits and cutting clips to music helps me zen and gets the ball rolling for me (I'm taking off with a flying leap as far as my original stuff goes-- yay!) and I felt like I should share my crazy love for Hollywood Undead and Supernatural.

Of course, the song belongs to Hollywood Undead, and the clips belong to Supernatural. If they (or the companies that represent them) don't want me posting this video, I'll gladly remove it.

I'm making fanvids again. I should be working on my scripts.
OMG. I have so many ideas for Supernatural fanvids. Currently I'm working on a general "the Winchesters are fucking badass" video to Hollywood Undead's "Undead". It's kind of cracky, but I don't care.
God, it's been such a long time since I made fanvids. I stopped because I was paranoid about working in the film industry and making fanvids on the side, but you know what? Fuck it. I like doing what I like doing, and no one is going to push me into hiding myself.

I think I might start putting more fandom stuff into this little journal. Like my thoughts/reactions of new episodes of various shows I'm watching? Behind a cut.

i'm still really pissed that terminator was cancelled.
